About Us

The Vintage Austin Register of New Zealand

The Register was founded in 1969 and now has about 500 members.

We promote the preservation and maintenance of vintage Austin motor vehicles manufactured at Longbridge up to 1986, including specials built mainly from Austin components. We also collect books and historical records, and run activities connected with these vehicles.

Members can buy parts from the Spares Register. Our archivist answers questions from the club library, and the Vehicles Register can help date your vehicle.

The club publishes a quarterly magazine and organises rallies, tours and local meetings for Austin cars. If you appreciate the products of Herbert Austin, we'd love you to join us.
